Daggermouth

Daggermouth was a pop-punk/hardcore band which formed in Vancouver, Canada in 2004. The band consisted of vocalist Nick Leadlay, guitarist Kenny Lush, guitarist and backing vocalist Stuart McKillop, bassist Erik Nielsen, and drummer Dan Donald. After signing to Smallman Records in late 2005 the band released their debut album "Stallone" which was followed by a succession of sucessful tours and a second album "Turf Wars" in March 2007. The band's sound has been described as being hardcore music with sprinklings of sweet pop-punk mixed in and basslines with a hardcore feel. Also of note is the bands name which is said to be a reference to a robotic fish from the Family Guy episode A Fish Out of Water. In November 2008, lead singer Nick Leadlay officially announced that the band would be going on an indefinite hiatus. He explained that the band had material for another album, but would not be touring for a while, due to health reasons for himself and other members of the band. Nick Leadlay is currently working on his solo work, under the title of Portsmouth. http://www.myspace.com/daggermouth Read more on Last.fm.
