Francois Prijt a.k.a Chosen Few began in the end of 1989 with producing and mixing hip hop and drum & bass. At that time he was already producing music on the commodore Amiga, which many producers used back then. At the end of 1991 he started spinning hardcore music in a small club at the red light district in Amsterdam where he build up a committed fan-base. Because of his successful appearances he was asked to play at the famous Multigroove party. This gig was breakthrough for Chosen Few and after some other big parties in The Netherlands he was booked for massive raves in several other countries. Together with dj Dano and The Prophet he played at a party in Austria and after this first gig abroad 'hell broke loose'. Chosen Few was asked for parties as Mayday in Berlin, Energy Rave in Zurich, Resurrection in Scotland and other great gigs in Italy, Russia, United States and Australia. In the Netherlands Chosen Few appeared on stage at Thunderdome '95 and pleased about 20,000 hardcore freaks with his sound. Ghosttown, Dominator Festival, Mindcontroller, Goliath 2006, Pandemonium and many of the legendary Hellraiser parties in the Sporthallen Zuid in Amsterdam followed. Chosen Few has released many tracks on many different labels like Mokum Records, Bzrk Black Label, RNO Records, Megarave, Spleen Kick Records, H20H Recordings and more. His most well-known record is Mokum 46 with the massive early hardcore hit 'Name of the Dj’, and ‘the Break’ (together with dj Pila). In total he made more than 100 tracks which are all released either on vinyl or cd.
