Hailing from the Mediterranean island of conquers, Sicily, the six-piece Crush! had their first debut in the scene in late 2009. Since their naissance the band had a big influence from A Skylit Drive's sounds and tried out to mix that phenomenal mixture of eargasm with their Progressive influences by Protest The Hero. As most of the bands, obstacles were every time behind the door but the Italian sextet always tried to fight with them and go ahead. Sadly the band had to change the line-up many times due to musical differences between the members, finally in 2011 they reached their own stability shared the stage with Americans Becoming The Archetype and welcomed bassist Marco Curia and singer Adriano "Adam" Clemense. Spending 5 hours a day in their practice room the band has finally came out with the band's debut full-length album "Of Beauty [&] Decadence" also with the help of producer Pietro Ventimiglia and in early 2012, Crush! joined the studio to record what is suppose to be their official debut in the scene, in fact with the release of the title track "Of Beauty And Decadence" and the second single "Steel Sun" they truly made their impact and reached a big circle of fans all over the world. "If someone has doubted of us or has doubted of what we are capable of so they're fucking wrong" - says singer Adam. "When I started the band I've said to my brothers and friends that we're Crush!, we are fucking alive and we will kick-asses in the next few years. I will tell them this for the rest of my life" - this is what drummer and band former Dave Calafato said. The band also adds "If you think that Of Beauty [&] Decadence is a good record with our upcoming second one we're going to blast your mind". With these words the band started the '13. Recently, the band has announced that they parted ways with singer Peter Basso and announced that they has started the pre-production of the second album. The band also wrote in their official statement that they will not look for a new singer but Dave Calafato (drummer) will do clean vocals on the next record. The band will hit the studio during fall 2013 to record their 2nd full length "The Dream Hunters". Read more on Last.fm.
