Conover

Conover is the name of a four-piece act based out of Monmouth County, NJ. The band formed in 2013 with original members Adam Cooper (lead guitar), Patrick Walsh (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Paddy Ahimovic (drums), and Tristan Sickles (bass & backup vocals). Their sound has been described as Jersey Shore-influenced indie surf rock. The band is currently touring around Central New Jersey playing backyards and venues like The Stone Pony while unleashing fierce versions of their songs. So far, Conover has released two songs on their Bandcamp site http://conover.bandcamp.com/. The songs are: "She Can Be Queen," a solid take on the desert-rock that made Arctic Monkeys' "Humbug" a success, and "Pulp," a laid-back tune in the vein of Smith Westerns and Real Estate.
