Clubbervision is the name of the spanish band formed by Daniel Ferreira and Jorge Garcia. Daniel has been part of the tecnopop/clubhouse band “Groovekicks” in the 90's ending with some success in Vigo, a small town at the north of the country. He has a classical knowledge of music and his learning about electronic sounds started with a small and cheap groovebox that really involved him in creating patterns and sequences as one of his preferred things and moving to music software later. By other part, Jorge has been working as dj/speaker and sound engineer since 1997 for some spanish radio stations, letting him discover records and labels from deep house music to trance that came from America and UK. That motivated him making his first productions with software like ‘Impulse Tracker’. In summer of 2000 they discovered each other, and made a good relationship so loved the same music and philosophy of it. They finally decided to combine forces past January 2003 and started Clubbervision, based on the upcoming and hi-quality style of progressive electronic music that they discovered thanks to Global Underground and Reinassance compilations. First demo cds were sent and the interest quickly came from some UK labels, like Navigation records who asked the guys for a remix of the hit ‘Jase from outta space – Do what you want’. The Clubbervision interpretation of the track was released in 2004 as B side white label for Infusion’s remix and then Jorge and Dani got worldwide exposure with really good comments even from the original artist of the tune. That helped to reach first record deals with labels like Politik records (USA), Pangea (USA) and Park Limited Muzik (Japan), having massive support and charted by djs like Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, DJ19, Markus Schulz and many more. ‘Clubbervision – Dream off’ under Politik records (2004) started their own way at premium labels and then the success continued with the remix signed for ‘IB – Love & Religion’ track, that was released under legendary label Looq records, and aired at John Digweed’s Kiss100 show. But it wasn’t until 2005 when they probably made their biggest hit so far: ‘Clubbervision – Paz’ which impressed Private Reality’s label owner Mark Venneri, also known as his productions under Madoka name. He quickly wanted to release it under the label, and made a remix himself. The tune received the support from Nick Warren, Matthew Dekay, Jonathan Lisle and Max Graham. Those releases made Clubbervision the first Spanish artists to have their music released under 3beat distribution labels, so that caught the attention of all clubbing scene and media from their country, being nominated as best revelation artists in Deejay Magazine (Spanish edition) in 2005. Also a Spanish distributor offered them a place as A&R and head producers of a new, the first 100% progressive and electronic label ever in Spain: Noctambula Records. The label is now in their 6th release with really good response. By other part, first Clubbervision digital release ‘The lost dream’ reached #1 Top sales on breaks chart at Beatport.com The guys have been doing since then a wide range of electronic and progressive music, from 4 by 4 to breaks, techno, trance and deep tracks. That have already made their own way in the scene, not only about their fresh and original production work, but also doing impressive Live-Acts with state-of-the art software and hardware resources. Its not just a couple of djs, its not just a couple of producers, its… Clubbervision. Read more on Last.fm.
