Cirrus Bay's Slipping of a Day is finally released! What a fine album it has turned out to be. I have known Bill Gillham for over 20 years. Bill lives iin the State of Washington near the city of Seattle. We have worked together on many music projects in the past. I was thrilled to become a part of this latest project which Bill has worked on for a couple of years. I sing a number of the songs on the album. The music on this album is of a style onto it's own. It has a style which can be compared to 70's style Genesis, Camel or even Renaissance. Most people would categorize this probably in the progressive music vein. It is an album which one needs to listen to several times. In this way it will grow on you and become an enduring part of one's CD collection. Bill has worked many long hours both in and out of the recording studio developing this concept album. I would say this project marks a milestone in his music career. While Bill has had many other music projects in the past this one is the first to be commercially launched towards the public. Bill's new second album entitled "A Step Into Elsewhere" has been released as of June 16th 2009. For information on how to obtain the album please check the official Cirrus Bay website. I wish him much success with both of the albums. Alex Brighenti Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
