Beginning the EP with a techno sound shortly followed by Chris’ soothing voice, My World kicks off the EP with flying colors.  Keeping the techno beats at an all time high throughout the track, listeners are able to really get a feel for the song as they listen along with the lyrics being sang.  Daft Punk’s Around The World is played in the background as well, continuing the theme of this catchy tune.  Lyrically, the track entails a relationship in which a man wants to give his woman his all in order to really show her what he has to offer.  With a cute and relatable meaning lyrically, My World gives listeners the perfect feel for what the rest of the EP has to offer, which is upbeat music by a very talented fresh new musician.  Immediately following is the single Hands Up that many of us have already grown to love.  This is the most upbeat track on the EP, along with being a fan favorite.  Energy levels are at an all time high throughout the song, perfectly paired with an upbeat chorus that makes you want to dance along within seconds.  Halfway through, the track breaks down into a rap that once again has listeners on their toes.  With a successful break between the techno sounds the rest of the track entails, it creates the perfect gap in style all while keeping us dancing.  One can’t help but smile while listening to this song, which is the main reason why it is also the strongest track on the EP.  Showing how unstoppable he is only two tracks into the debut of his music, Chris is at an all time high in his music career. Lets Get Live comes next, automatically beginning with a sound that one would hear at a club on a Friday night.  This point is reassured as the track continues with a steady beat that sounds like hands clapping together, perfect to get your night started on the right note.  Popping lyrics keep this song at an all time high, with your smile guaranteed to stay plastered right on your face.  With a similar lyrical meaning to that of My World, it is even more of a hit with the capability it has of relating to a larger audience.  At this point in the EP, Chris shows off his vocal abilities hitting notes both high and low in order to really wow his audience of fans both old and new.  Lets Get Live is the track on the EP that has potential to be a club hit.  Chris’ first released single Sky High is next, a track that has already won over the hearts of many.  Inserting the two previously released songs on the EP creates the perfect harmony between old and new, balancing out to create an overall project that will have many falling in love with Chris’ style.  Sky High slows down the EP just a tad, providing the perfect break in dance along songs while still being incredibly upbeat and positive.  The lyrics included in this track are simply phenomenal and will definitely give you the confidence boost you need to conquer any goal or dream that you may have. While there are still two songs to be heard on The Vision EP, it is already very clear that Chris Barrett has a massive amount of talent to show the world.  With a slow transition into Living Alive, familiar rhythms are heard as Telepopmusik’s Just Breathe is heard as a background for another incredible track by Chris.  Bringing the forces of pop and techno sounds and fusing them together, Chris proves that not only is he talented but he also contains the ability to produce versatile music.  Keeping the pace at a slower pace in the transition from Sky High, Chris really captivates his audience of listeners with his voice as he sings well-written lyrics in a melody that will have you falling for his music in an instant.  Along with this, he shows the range of his voice in a way that allows one to hear just what he is showing through his lyrics as he hits notes both high and low.  A harmonic ending leads directly into Ecstasy Island, the final track on the EP.  Kicking the pace right back up to the high point it was, dancing along with the music is something you will find yourself doing right as the track begins.  As soon as vocals begin it is clear that this will be another fan favorite, and as the track continues so does this point.  The chorus entails living your life as though it is all a dream, which is a point that many people try to make in their lives.  Whether it be taking these dreams and making them a reality or just living life without caring what the world has to say, this is a song lyrically that a great majority of listeners will find an instant connection to.  Slowing down the beat halfway through the track creates the perfect balance between pace, allowing those listening to truly absorb the lyrical meaning of this incredible track.  Though this is the first finished piece that Chris Barrett has released for the world to hear, it shows his potential to be a well recognized artist in the music industry.
