Jay currently plays for the band "CHANEY" in Austin Texas. He has been playing music ever since he was a child and thanks his father for being his teacher and mentor. Jay Jayasuriya was born in Sri Lanka. Jay moved to the United States when he was 16 years old with his family and has been here since. Jay still plays his Sri lankan songs also called "Sinhala Bila" when ever he gets together with his Sri Lankan friends.
