Central Coast clique was Chicano Rap duo formed in 1998 that broke ground in Chicano Rap by popularizing the 80's ELECTRO-FUNK samples used in Chicano Rap today . Dj Dominator(Arthur Dominguez) and Rebel were the initial members but would also be joined by Sara S,T-Dre,Deluxe and dreamer in many of their albums. Originally Dominator was the lead producer for Cali Life Style in their first 2 albums then in 1998 he and friend Rebel would go on to form Central Coast Clique as a side project. Thier debut album 'Here Comes The Triple C' was a fresh vibe of electro funk and stoner jams in Chicano Rap that were unheard of that time throughout the southwest states. With the success of their first attempt they released 'Underworld 805 family' the following year. The album again got them much respect as it continued were ' Here Comes The Triple C' left off but it included more serious topics like their lead single's track ' True' (samples spandeu ballet-True. The following years for Central Coast clique would be slow. However Dj Dominator would still produce tracks for Lil Rob,Mr Criminal,Mr- Capone-e,Madogg and Central Coast Clique throughout the decade.
