Carla Bean was born to bring unique, original and still palatable music into this world, and we need it now, more than ever. Her father, a musician and artist, and her mother, a creative writer, infused Bean with the ammo she needs to complete her mission…She has been singing, playing piano, writing music and lyrics, and also drawing since she was a wee lass. Her unique upbringing in a tiny tiny town outside of Philadelphia, PA, with medieval castles, gothic cathedrals, and a whole mess of forest and meadows, gave her a certain quality that hopefully sets her apart from the cauldrons and cauldrons of other artists…the childhood hallucinations probably don’t hurt either. After years of being an essential ingredient in other swell bands, Like Fresh Cut Salads, Carla Bean teamed up with Producer, Rubin Edwards to take her music to the next level. She has just released her first solo song and video “Magic Box” to lure unsuspecting folk into her Pied Piper sound trail, so we will all be in one place when she drops a full-length album of saucy songs on our asses.
