Norway-based band. According to their Myspace description, they sound like "Robert Smith singing with Ian Curtis, who borrowed a drum machine from New Order, played a little while with Billy Corgan, finally kicked him out of the band, but couldn't get him away for good though, so he stills hang around even though you can't hear him that good anymore, David Byrne joined the team with spasms and energy, and Dave Gahan got a shot in the end to, but he was told to limit himself because he was beeing way to dark all the time, cause Campire Kansas felt that they had transcedended through all that gloomy everythings black stuff, because that is only a escapistic mode that keeps you away from the real greyness of everything." Members - Bjorn Inge Engebretsen: Vocals, rhythm guitar and synth - Maarten Haug: Lead guitar - Sondre Steffen Tangstad Imseth: bassguitar, basssynth - Martin Bekkevold: Synth, Guitar, Programming.
