Burial Year was a Metalcore band hailing from San Francisco. The wrecking ball of a band pulverizes without becoming stagnant and exemplifies heaviness that's driven with unrelenting onslaught of power. Burial Year was formed in January 2005 by Sean Andrews and Duwayne Andersen of Takaru with Dan Wedgewood and Aaron Nice of A Light in the Attic. Burial Year released their self-titled 12" the same year on Waving Wheat Records and cd on Alone Records. Joshua Kuntz of Bullets*In joined as main vocalist before the recording of their Pestilence lp on Adagio830. They toured the USA twice, once with Greyskull and toured Europe once with Zann and Trainwreck. After the European tour there were plans to release a split with Trainwreck but they broke up before that could happen. Their last recordings were released instead years later on a split with Zann. The members of Burial Year can now be found in: Drowning With Our Anchors (Joshua Kuntz, Dan Wedgewood) Olehole (Joshua Kuntz, Dan Wedgewood) Pills (Joshua Kuntz, Sean Andrews) Excited States (Duwayne Andersen) Read more on Last.fm.
