A martyr in this hip hop game, Blame One has been baring his lyrical heart and soul on San Diego stages for over a decade. His lyrical style is reminiscent of early rappers like Rakim and G Rap while the beats, laid down by Hoax One, are both influentially stylistic and artistically fresh. Blame’s tone is unique and sometimes hard to place but his rhyme palette is characteristically wise, giving truth to the old adage “respect is a privilege not a right.” He proves himself over and over again to be a man of many faces, manipulating each of his songs with precision and depth while delivering his messages with the clarity and honesty of a man that has lived through many lifetimes.
