This York melodic rock metal band started out nearly 10 years ago with venno and toady playing in school bands together. A few years later both Russ and Nick joined the band and formed Beyond all Reason. They played gigs and toured all over the UK following superb radio 1 support from Mary Ann Hobbs (for whom they did a live Rock show session in January 04). They won best single on Zane Lowe's fresh meat competition radio 1 and were mentioned by Mary Ann Hobbs on Joe Whiley's show for bands to watch out for 04! Most recently being mentioned by Zane Lowe on his show 'Gonza' Mtv2 by saying "We have played them a few times on Radio 1 now and their going to be huge"! May 05. Airplay has also come from Xfm and regional BBC stations as well as KROQ in Los Angeles. The band have had superb coverage from Metal Hammer, Kerrang and Rocksound as well as many other local magazines and on-line magazine / fan sites. Support also came from Welsh phenomenon Funeral for a Friend: "Beyond all Reason are from York and they're another band who can be brutally heavy in parts yet beautifully melodic at the same time. They've just given us a copy of their new demo and it's really f**king good. Criminally good in fact!" Metal Hammer magazine 04. Now supporting ffaf on one of their next UK tour dates. Amazing reviews for the bands album 'Words of Betrayal' have come from Metal Hammer giving the band 8/10 review, Zero magazine 4/5, Powerplay 9/10. ome amazing on line reviews with Rock3.co.uk giving the band 5/5, RockSomething.com 4/5, Gamefoe.co.uk 4/5, alternative-links.co.uk 5/5 review plus many others like punkbands.com. The band have also been on Rocksound and Metal Hammer covermount cd's and were voted top best 3 tracks in Rocksound for their track 'Love crossed Pistols'.
