Barry & The Remains

A 1960's garage rock group that became popular in Boston, but after signing to Epic Records in 1964, and scoring regional hits, relocated to New York City. The appeared on tv shows like Ed Sullivan and Hullabaloo, and opened for the Beatles final tour in 1966. After disbanding in 1966, Tashian and Briggs went to California and were briefly members of the Flying Burrito Brothers. The Remains reformed decades after disbanding and in 2002 recorded a new album featuring original singer Barry Tashian, as well as the old lineup of Vern Miller, Bill Briggs and Chip Damiani.
