Ashley Wallbridge started his career very early on as a DJ. Known as a prodigy for winning some over 18 dj competitions in the UK with fake ID. Ash has been featured on Radio 1 at the tender age of 16 alongside Fergie and Dave Pierce. During this time he also played at Newcastle superclub IKON to over 2500 people. Age has never been a factor for him and 2008 sees him sailing his way into the production world with his first signing to Lyon Echo in NYC followed by the Definitive VOL 1 EP on Auryn Music and CAPTIVE on DBR. Ashley has had the suppport of most of the biggest names in HOUSE & TRANCE and is equally comfortable producing Prog, Electro, Trance, Vocal and Techno under no separate Alias. Just 2 releases in Ashley has already seen the top 10 sales on djtunes.com,top 30 in beatport prog, top 10 beatport trance and has charted on too many playlists to mention. Many of the newer tunes you may have heard by now and many more to come. Ashley is now dubbed by the incredible Andy Moor in his djmag interview as 2008 producer of the year. Always improving on the last and becoming very unpredictable Ashley is proud to be a son of all EDM music both as a dj and a producer. Look for him to surprise. _______ Meighan Nealon was born in Toronto, Canada to a Jamaican mother and Irish father. At an early age she was involved in gymnastics, dance and musical theater. By the time she was in high school she began as a dancer on the Much Music television show Electric Circus. This at the time was an iconic show for EDM lovers and one of the few shows worldwide of its kind. Sadly the show canceled and left Meighan with a sense of wanting more. A chance meeting with an entertainment manager in Toronto led her to a producer Adrian who toyed with the idea of her featuring in a hip hop project based in NYC. The idea turned out to be one of the better examples of that project but was later shelved. Frustrated, Meighan decided to pack her bags and move to Taiwan to study Chinese. Perhaps what some may have thought was a shocking move actually turned out to be the revelation for her to find her sound back to EDM. Taipei had a budding club scene at this time as well as unique music from all over Asia. This eventually led her to return to the EDM scene but in an artistic capacity rather than dancing. Ironically the same producer (Adrian) who had suggested the hip hop project also had contacts with a team of EDM producers in Toronto. They did their first song in 2005 "Just like this" based on the same producers idea. This song sparked the attention of UK based Hit Records who offered Meighan to feature on a more appropriate tune produced by mega producer Nicola Fasano. This turned out to be her entry into a more mainstream EDM market. Turns out Nicola tapped into something special with the Made in Japan mix for her which leant a bit to a trance feel. The song was reviewed and many people felt her feel was more towards trance vocally. Meighan actually was living in London UK now and became more and more interested in a more progressive trance sound. In summer 2007 a chance email by then unknown Ashley Wallbridge to do a colab was the beginning of this. Adrian was in London at the time and decided to write for the project. This resulted in "I believe" which was arguably on of the biggest trance tunes of early 2008. It was remixed by the likes of Gareth Emery and Sied Van Riel. Meighan decided that Taipei was where she got her inspiration so she decided to move back to begin future projects as a base from Asia. One year after recording "I believe" another big colab with the now known Ashley Wallbridge "My blood" has graced the playlists once again and now the colab base is expanding to some major names. Unique lyrics and daring topics tend to always eminate from her team as some have already pointed out.
