Rockabilly legend Art Adams is well known for his two 45s Indian Joe/Rock Crazy Baby (Cherry #1004) released 1959 and Dancing Doll/She Don't Live Here No More (Cherry #1018/1019) released 1960. Despite the success of these two singles, Adams quit the music business in 1968. Little did he know that during the next 30 years, copies of Rock Crazy Baby would circulate around the world, making him an underground legend. Since his return to live music in 2003, Adams has been going strong. He has released four CDs: Rock Crazy Baby (2003-Collector Records), Rocking My Way Around (2005-Collector Records), Dancing Doll (2006-Flying Saucer Records), The Truth (2009-Smoking Ace Records) as well as a recent 50 year anniversary 45 (2009-Norton Records.) His original recordings have been re-released on numerous compilation records including the 2006 Rhino records box set "Rockin' Bones: 1950s Punk and Rockabilly." As one of the few original rockabilly artists still playing today, Adams has become an in-demand performer in today's new rockabilly scene. He has played at clubs and rockabilly festivals around the world including: Las Vegas, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Sweden, Spain, France, England, Green Bay, Chicago, Pittsburgh...etc. The Art Adams Band has a reputation for being a must see live act featuring: drum wizard Greg Cole, upright spin bass master Mike Strauss, guitar guru Tim Gibson along with the original wild man Art Adams.
