Anna VINNITSKAYA was born in a family of musicians on the 4th of August in 1983 in Novorossijsk in Russia. At the age of 6 she began practicing piano. In 1995 she became pupil at the Music Lyce of the S. Rachmaninov-Conservatory in Rostov (Russia), from 2000 to 2001 she was studying at the Conservatory of Rostov with Prof. S. Osipenko. Since October 2001 she studies at the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater” in Hamburg, first with Prof. R. Nattkemper and later on with Prof. E. Koroliov. She participated in several Master Classes, for example with the Professors A. Nassedkin, E. Mogilewskij, P. Badura-Skoda and K.-H. Kämmerling. Anna VINNITSKAYA plays concerts all over Europe and has played many concerts with serveral orchestras in Europe and Russia. In 1996 she won the 1st prize at the 3rd international Piano Competition Youth-Competition in Moskov. In the year 2000 she won the 3rd prize at the international Piano Competition “Rina Salo Gallo in Monza (Italy). In 2002 she won the 1st prize, the Audience prize and the award for the best performance of Spanish music at the 44. international Piano Competition “Premio Jaen de Piano” in Spain. In the year 2004 she won the 1st prize and the Audience prize at the 7. international Piano Competition “Mauro Paolo Monopoli” in Italy and the first prize at the “Elise-Meyer-Competition” in Hamburg. On the third of May 2005 she received the “Culture-Prize” of the “Berenberg-Bank” in Hamburg and in October 2005 she won the 4th prize at the “Busoni-Competition” in Bolzano.
