Angel Parra Trio

Angel Parra Trio is a Latin jazz Chilean band formed in 1990, within the members of the band we find the composer "Titae" (Roberto Lindl) and the guitarist-leader Ángel Parra. Initially the group was a trio that played standard American jazz in acoustic format, that is to say, without a defined identity. Nevertheless the group has undergone a remarkable evolution in the last Albums, in which they are have included keyboards as permanent members, DJs and even singers (emphasizing the collaboration of Jorge González and Julian Peña). At the moment the group plays Latin jazz (jazz fused with rates/Latin American styles), achieving a surprising fusion with the tradition of the Chilean pop music: the result is highly original, attractive and evocative. This musical proposal has turned it in to the most popular Latin jazz of Chile, with big sales and getting payed on ballad and pop local radios.
