What Had They Done? | Alexander Kostruba | Deep Yoga, Vol. II |
Professional musician on the class of violin, whose musical taste was formed by Beatles, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Deep Purple and Queen, Alexander Kostruba has been demonstrating bright talent and perfect ear for music from the earliest childhood. Eventually Alexander started to pay more attention to electronic music by Jean Michelle Jarre and Space, which in its turn led to modern club music. Being a fan of almost all electronic music sub styles, Alexander decided to start working with melodic trance music. The great influence by Marcus Schulz and Ozgur Can possessed progressive trance music as dominant. Shortly after the beginning of Alexander’s career of electronic music producer his remix for “Ozgur Can – Irony” appeared in Marcus Shulz’s radio show – Global DJ Broadcast and was highly appreciated by world top trance DJs. First Alexander’s official release (remix for “3 Colors – Morning Dust”, Alter Ego Progressive records) entered the most influential club music radio show A State of Trance by Armin Van Buuren. Since May, 1 2007 Alexander has been working with ReallyReallyBigRecords (founded by Ukrainian DJs and promoters – Evgeniy Shestopal and Victor Lysytsyn). His first release at RRBR “Spirit of Verticality EP” reached the first place of Juno Download progressive/uplifting trance bestseller chart during first two weeks. As an artist, Alexander has been critically acclaimed for his unusual approach to music producing and extremely high professionalism. Read more on Last.fm.
