Alan composed the award-winning score to the animated film, “The Princess and the Pea” and also co-wrote the original songs with Grammy Award winning Lyricist David Pomeranz. He has been awarded the Insight Award for Excellence for his score to “Kilimanjaro: To the Roof of Africa” as well as 7 Accolade Awards for Best Original Score. Hollywood Reporter, Daily Variety, Los Angeles Times, Box Office Magazine and LA Weekly have applauded Alan's scores as, "relentlessly spectacular", "exceptional", "pure emotion", "stirring adventure-movie score", "tender melodies", "thrilling", "richly melodic", "charming and romantic", "touching", "heartfelt", "full of delight", "a remarkable gift for melody and large-form orchestration", "powerful, beautifully melodic, and abundantly textured."
