Adele Anthony

Australian classical violinist Adele Anthony began playing at the age of 2 1/2, and at ten performed before Britain's Prince Charles. Won the 1st Prize of the Young Performer of The Year Competition at 13, playing the Sibelius Violin Concerto. Has played with all six Australian symphony orchestras of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and has performed widely in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and the USA. She studied under Beryl Kimber at the Conservatory of the University of Adelaide, and then with Dorothy Delay at the Julliard School in New York City. She plays a Stradivarious violin, made in 1728.
