A BANQUET, the uncompromising trio from Prague managed to fight their way to the very top of the Czech indie scene. They were announced as the Best new band of the year 2010 by IndieMusic.cz and they are said to be one of the most gifted and hardworking young bands in the Czech Repuplic, which has the potential to succeed outside the country. A Banquet mix the 60s and 70s and the alternative movements of the 80s and 90s along with the contemporary indie genres such as electro, nu-rave, shoegaze and many others, under the auspices of their very own style called FUTU-ROLL. It entered the so called Medúza music chart on Czech TV and it also appeared for example on Alternativa TV; Marian Šicko was the director in charge of the video Gold Frames, which entered the music chart on Alternativa TV as well as making an appearance in the Rock&Pop magazine selection The debut single Dark Streets was released on the prestigious Report magazine SoundCzech compilation (June 2010) A Banquet attract the attention of the Czech-Slovak Media on a long-term basis.
