615 Music is a broadcast production music company. Founded in 1984 by Randall Wachtler, 615 Music composes television news music packages and custom image campaigns for many television networks around the world. The name 615 Music comes from Nashville's Area Code (615), which is where the company is based. 615 is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with operations in Los Angeles. On December 10, 2010, 615 Music (along with sister company, Salt Lake City, Utah-based Non-Stop Music) were acquired by Warner Music Group through its Warner/Chappell Music division. In 2012, 615 Music, Non-Stop Music, and Santa Monica, California-based Groove Addicts (among other production music companies) were merged into the newly-formed Warner/Chappell Production Music unit.
